Jacky Chu is a partner in the International Assignment Services practice with extensive experience in providing personal tax and international assignment related compliance and advisory services for companies in different industries including banking, education, energy, insurance, investment, logistic, manufacturing, real estate, retail and telecommunication etc.
He specialises in advising on the China employment and inbound/outbound assignment related matters, including day-to-day tax and social security compliance, China/Hong Kong cross-border taxation, expatriate cost management, payroll and forex regulations, tax planning strategies, reward and compensation design, tax audit defence etc.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree majoring in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with honours. He is a regular speaker in public seminars for business chambers and associations. He is a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and Taxation Institute of Hong Kong and a Certified Tax Advisor (HK).
